Options

K-Secure VPN™ Client provides the following options so you can fine tune portions of the program to better suit your needs.

General

  • Display icon in system tray
    When checked, K-Secure VPN™ Client puts an icon in the task bar notification area.
  • Start service automatically with Windows
    When checked, K-Secure VPN™ Client will start when Windows is started.
  • Use a master password
    Once a master password is set, K-Secure VPN™ Client will ask for it when user tries to modify certain information, such as VPN rules.
  • Show warning when clearing history data
    When checked, K-Secure VPN™ Client will present a confirmation message box when you reset history data.
  • Show warning when deleting configurations
    When checked, K-Secure VPN™ Client will present a confirmation message box when you delete server configurations.

K-Secure VPN™ Client currently supports the following languages:

Connections

By default, the connection page does not include
  • Show System Connection
  • Show UDP Connection
  • Show VPN Connection
To display these connections in the Connections page, check these options.

If you check the "Log network traffic to the following folder:" checkbox, you shall be presented with a dialog so you can specify the folder in which K-Secure VPN™ Client will use to log network traffic.

To automatically reconnect when an error occurs, put a checkmark in Automatically reconnect when an error occurs. You may further specify how long K-Secure VPN™ Client shall wait before it retries the connections. If both minites and seconds are empty or 0, then K-Secure VPN™ Client will retry the connections immediately (without delay).

History

  • # Entries per page
    Enter how many items you want to see in one page inside the History viewer. By default, K-Secure VPN™ Client displays 5000 items in one page. The value entered here does not affect how K-Secure VPN™ Client records history data.
  • Record all details
    This option affects how K-Secure VPN™ Client records history data. When this box is checked, K-Secure VPN™ Client will record all the details of network connections.
