Section I Step 2: Create a Group

Now that your server's external IP and port are set, it is time to create some users. However, users (and rules) are meaningless unless they belong to a group. In order to create our users we have to create a group first.

Click the wizard tool button located at the right-top of the application window. Choose Group Wizard from the menu that pops up. The Group Wizard shall come up -

Select the first option - Create a new group with the following name. In the edit box, type in the name of the group (we'll use My Friends in this tutorial) and then click Next. You'll be taken to the second page of the wizard -

Select the first option - This group does not have a parent group (which should have been selected by default). Now click Finish. This brings you to the final confirmation page -

Very good! You've just created the first group in K-Secure VPN^™ Server. We are now able to create some users inside this group. Click Close to get rid of the wizard and, when you are ready, go to the next step.
