Express Config

The Express Config page provides an easy way for new groups, rules and rules to be quickly added to the system. It can be used when creating a simple group that contains only a few rules and/or users.

To quickly paste configurations into the dialog

  1. Edit the text configurations in the text box below to suit your needs, then copy everything in the box to the Windows clipboard:

  2. Launch K-Secure VPN Server, go to the Express Config page and then click Paste.

Fields in this page:

GroupPick an existing group or type the name of the group to be created.
Rule NameThis is just a convenient way for a rule to be recognized by the human eyes; Changing the name of the rule will not affect the service in any way;
Multiple ConnectionsProtocols like FTP require more than one connection to complete their communications; Check this option for FTP and similar protocols;
EnabledBy default this is checked, when defining a new rule to be enabled later, you can uncheck this box.
UsernameWhen the client communicates with the server, Username will be checked against its identity database;
PasswordPassword provides additional security on the connections. It is optional since the Access Key property is sufficient in most scenarios;
Access KeyUse the "Regenerate" to generate a new one. When the client communicates with the corresponding server, Access Key will be checked by the server against its identity database;
Target IPs and PortsWhen a connection comes from the client side, the server matches the connection's target IP and port against these four parameters.
Application Server's IP and PortThe address and port that the server connect on behalf of the client;
Proxy AgentThe IP address under Application Server is the Virtual IP Address of a Proxy Agent (VPN client);
