User Wizard

The User Wizard is accessible through the wizard tool button at the right-top of the application window. It allows you to easily create a new user or modify an existing user.

You can also rename an existing user by following these steps:
  1. Click the radio button Modify an existing user;
  2. Select the user you want to rename;
  3. Enter the new name of the user and click Next;

This brings you to the second page of the User Wizard, in which you can decide whether the user shall be put into a group.

Note: users without a group are inactive and no rule will be applied for them. This effectively means the user will not be able to successfully log into the VPN system. In order to allow the user access to network resources, you must put the user into a group.

Click Next, you will be able to generate an Access Key for the user.

Note: Access Keys are presented by the client to the server. It is a 128-bit hexadecimal value represented by 32 characters. Access Keys shall always be generated by the Re-generate button and shall not be modified manually.

Click Next, you will be able to set a password to the Access Key for the user.

Note: password is not always necessary.

When you are done with the above steps, you can click Finish. This brings you to the final confirmation page as shown below:
